Visit Aston Hall in 2008

Aston Hall is an outstanding example of Jacobean architecture. The mansion is a Grade I listed building. It is closed throughout 2007 for a ten million pounds make over.

It was built between 1618 and 1635 for Sir Thomas Holte, head of a prominent Warwickshire family. Located high on a hill near the River Tame, the Holtes lived here for nearly 200 years.

The house is beautifully furnished with fine paintings, textiles, furniture and metalwork.
